300 gsm Biaxial Carbon +-45º C-PLY™ SP BX 300 C3,4 24K HS Biaxial, width 127 cm (SPOT)

300 g/m2 NCF biaxial carbon fabric for high performance applications where high strength and low weight are required. Produced with two 150 g/m2 layers of unidirectional fabric, oriented at +45° and -45°. Suitable for manufacturing of composite parts and tools with epoxy, phenolic, polyester, urethane-acrylate or vinyl ester resins by hand lay-up, infusion or RTM.

C-PLY™ is a range of multiaxial carbon reinforcement (Non Crimp Fabric or NCF) developed using the most advanced technology and tow spreading process.

It is made using two plies of 150 gsm at +45°/-45° of Toray T700SC 24K 50C carbon fibre.

The NCF (Non Crimp Fabrics) carbon fibres enables the manufacture of lightweight plies combined using a tricot stitch.

SPOT reinforcements are fibres that come from overproduction of some of the highest quality materials or that may present small quality defects, which do not significantly affect the manufacture of the composite. Among the small defects in these fabrics we can mention these: a missing fibre yarn or a small crease in the fabric. They are always small imperfections or even negligible. The lower price more than compensates for the minor defects that may be present in these fibres/fabrics.
