Cure Cycles & performances

  • Recommended Initial cure: 65°C for 16h, at a ramp rate of 3.0°C/min
  • Recommended Post cure: 150°C for 1h, at a ramp rate of 0.3°C/min

Curing Schedule is meant to be a guide only and is subject to local conditions. Please read carefully the attached technical data sheet for all details related to the curing and postcuring of this prepreg.

To avoid exotherm particular care must be taken with thick laminates. Ramp rates must not exceed 3.0°C per minute during initial cure. Ramp rates must not exceed 0.3°C per minute during post cure (free standing).

Prepregs can be sent by express carrier. Unfortunately there is no refrigerated transport available for Europe. 

The following considerations might be taken into account:

The shelf life of a prepreg at 20 ºC is aprox. 25 days.

10-15 days at 30º C

5-10 days for temperatures over 40 ºC
