Recapoli 3680TPA is a thixotropic and preaccelerated unsaturated polyester resin for hand lay-up lamination of polystyrene foams, usually with glass fabrics or chopped strand mats. This resin does not attack or melt polystyrene foams (35-40 kg/m3 density).

It is catalysed with methyl ethyl ketone peroxide: 1.5% by weight.
Recommended for the manufacture of master models (plugs)for the production of composite moulds. Also frecuently used for coating polystyrene foam parts in decorative applications.
NOTE: Do Not apply a thin layer of resin alone because it would take a lot of time to react and very little styrene content would be enough to attack the polystyrene. It is always recommended to apply this resin with a fibre: glass veil, Chopped Strand MAT, ...

If you have selected a product whose container size is considered ADR and you choose SEUR or Correos EXPRESS as carrier, those ADR products will be transferred into smaller containers to not breach the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road. That is, if you order a 25 kg resin drum and you select SEUR or Correos Express as carrier because you need the products sooner, the resin will be supplied in 5 containers of 5 kg each and its catalyst will be supplied in 5 containers of 100 g.
In any case, drums bigger than 25 kg must be shipped by TXT or Schenker.
