Castro Composites collaborates in the LOCALIZA project for Radiation Oncology
We are glad to let you know that Castro Composites has participated in the LOCALIZA project for the development of HEALTH ADVANCED DETENTION DEVICES IN ORDES TO IMPROVE PATIENT SAFETY OF RADIATION ONCOLOGY (ITC-20133007)
The main objective was to develop health immobilization devices based on advanced composite materials type, integrated on architectures of intelligent spaces, in order to minimize the uncertainities associated with the different stages of ORT (Radiation Oncology).
LOCALIZA project was promoted and led by Galaria, a leading public company for the provision of health services in the service of ORT Meixoiero Hospital in Vigo. This project was supported by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and by the Galician Innovation Agency.
