Resoltech 3350 ECO / 3358T ECO High Tenacity Epoxy Adhesive

Bio-based structural epoxy adhesive with high toughness, featuring thixotropic behaviour for easy application with spatula or brush. Its “universal grease”-like rheology allows vertical layers up to 10 mm without sagging.

• Substrate compatibility: PVC, PET, balsa wood, composite laminates, steel, aluminium, concrete and wood.
• Application conditions: usable at <10 °C and unaffected by high humidity during application or curing.
• Bio-based content: 26 % in the resin and 45 % in the hardener.
• Colour options: white (3350 ECO) and black (3358T ECO); mixable to obtain grey, cream, orange or black.

Key data

• Mixing ratio: 2:1 by volume (100:42 by weight).
• Gel time: ~25 min at 23 °C (70 mL, 4 cm height).
• Clamp time: approx. 8 h at 23 °C.
• Mix viscosity: ~29 500 mPa·s (23 °C).
• Reference post-curing: 16 h at 60 °C → Tg ~68 °C; Shore D hardness ~82.
• Typical strengths: shear on steel ~30 MPa; pull-off on sandblasted steel ~23 ± 2 MPa.

Preparation and application

1. Prepare surfaces: sanding and degreasing (acetone/MEK). For metals: chemical treatment and abrasion.
2. Mix thoroughly according to the specified ratio until fully homogeneous.
3. Apply with spatula/notched trowel or brush; keep parts in contact until initial curing.
