In this section we offer good range of vaccum pumps for most short and medium size processes with composites.
You will also find a wide range of vacuum accessories to help you develop and maintain your vacuum set-up.
Vacuum pumps are typically classified by the horsepower of the motor, the volume of air displaced in cubic meter per hour (CMH) or cubic feet per hour (CFH), type of pumping mechanism (piston, rotary vane, diaphragm, etc.) and the maximum attainable vacuum pressure in Bar or inches of mercury ("Hg.).
It is very important to match the bag size, desired vacuum level, and pressure with that of the pump for best results. While a smaller pump can often attain a desired vacuum level on a large system, it will take much longer to achieve that level. Also, if a leak is present in a system which exceeds the CMH or CFH rating of the pump, even a partial vacuum will be difficult to achieve. If a pump can not achieve full vacuum in less than five to ten minutes, the pump is probably too weak. Selecting the correct pump for an application is based on total area of the mould. By squeezing as much air out of the bag as soon as possible before sealing the bag and applying the vacuum, the work of the pump can be greatly reduced.
Vac-Reg has been designed to provide accurate, controlled vacuum for parts that use honeycomb core. Vac-Reg is a small in-line unit that is easy to use. Each part in the shop can be independently regulated using Vac-Reg. It uses standard 1/4 inch male NPT fittings and will accept AQD 500TF, Airlock 450TF & 550TF quick disconnect fittings.
Only a sealed infusion setup and a high vacuum enables parts of the highest quality made by vacuum infusion. The Vac Checker® by DD-Compound is a digital pressure gauge that measures the absolute pressure and displays the immediate change in pressure digitally. The maintenance-free pressure sensor delivers precise and reliable measurements.
QS5 is a 5 CFM pump with premium features without the premium price. Dual voltage operation, brass fittings, and an exhaust demister make QS5 a versatile and durable pump for everyday use. A twoyear over-the-counter warranty ensures QS5 will stand up to daily punishment for years.
This Vacuum Bell is perfect for resin degazing before infusion, silicone degazing for moulds production and for getting rid of air bubbles in any filled casting resin.
Supplied with: one vacuometer, one insulation valve and one unloading valve.
