Sanders and abrasives for composites are used to prepare and finish part and mould surfaces. This selection includes electric and pneumatic machines, mesh abrasives and finishing abrasives for different stages of the work.
The sanding objective determines the abrasive: removing material and preparing a surface is not the same as refining it before polishing. The finishing abrasives in the range cover flat or contoured surfaces within the manufacturer's specified procedure.
Check the backing-pad diameter, attachment and dust-extraction configuration of the tool. Products have different diameters and machines have different power sources; not every disc fits every machine.
Where the finish requires it, coordinate sanding with finishing and polishing products for composites. Selecting protective equipment and controlling dust are part of preparing the work.
