Choosing a polishing compound and accessory

From sanding to a gloss finish

Plan polishing according to the surface condition and the marks to be corrected. A cutting compound and a finishing compound do not necessarily serve the same function. Coordinate the sequence with abrasives and sanders and the instructions for the system used.

Choosing compound, pad and machine

Wool pads, cutting foams and finishing foams are part of different working combinations. Check that the backing pad, diameter and attachment match the polisher. Also choose the compound for the surface you are polishing: gelcoat, paint or another finish.

Patterns, moulds and repaired parts

The range allows tooling finishes to be prepared and part surfaces to be finished. Cloths help remove residues and perform final cleaning. Polishing is a surface operation and does not replace laminate repair or defect filling.
