What to consider when choosing

Choosing the decorative effect

Silver, gold and copper particles create metallic effects; pearlescent pastes and powders give different reflections. In epoxy, iridescent pigments reflect light and shine, while PET glitter adds sparkle. Fluorescent pigments give intense colours; glow powders store light and then glow in darkness. These are different effects.

Colour and resin base

RAL 9005 black is formulated specifically for epoxy. Select the pigment alongside the epoxy casting resin base and check each product's compatibility. To keep a translucent finish, compare dyes for epoxy resins and varnishes.
