Crystic 15PA is formulated for composite mould surfaces built with unsaturated polyester or vinyl ester resins. Resolcoat VI 5090 is described for vinyl ester and epoxy moulds, with epoxy-laminate compatibility and resistance to chemicals and solvents. That compatibility applies to VI 5090, not every vinyl ester gelcoat. Define the mould resin and process before choosing the colour.
The range is divided into brush-applied vinyl ester gelcoats and spray-applied vinyl ester gelcoats. Crystic 15PA's B or S designation and the VI 5090 variant must suit your equipment. To prepare a porous pattern or restore a surface before moulding, consult mould and pattern preparation; a tooling gelcoat does not replace these operations.
