Glass fibre epoxy prepregs for parts and mould surfaces. Compare construction and resin system; the list also includes auxiliary materials and products with other resin types that need to be checked separately.

What to consider when choosing

Selecting a glass fibre prepreg system

Products include biaxial and plain weave fabrics and surfacing materials. The application and process are defined in each prepreg's data sheet. An adhesive film is not a prepreg fabric.

The list also includes a glass fibre product with PFA resin, which should not be confused with epoxy systems. Always confirm composition, storage conditions and curing before planning manufacture.

Applications and material selection

Glass OPS75 is described for bodywork needing less paint preparation and for certain moulds. Alutex MTP305 covers cosmetic automotive, sports and marine parts. FRVC411B targets specific aerospace and rail applications: fire requirements belong to the documented system and laminate, not every glass prepreg.

To compare fibres browse carbon prepregs; for liquid-resin impregnation, dry glass fibre fabrics.
