Distributing resin in the mould

The mesh is selected as part of the assembly's feed and evacuation path. Its layout must match the part geometry and intended process, together with the infusion channels and tubes and resin-feed and vacuum connections.

External mesh or internal flow medium

Not every reference occupies the same position in the stack. There are external meshes for resin distribution and flow media designed to remain inside the laminate. This distinction matters before choosing the material and planning whether it is removed or stays in the part.

Multilayer consumables

Some references include perforated film or peel ply as well as mesh. These combinations provide several functions in one consumable; check their composition before adding separate peel ply or another film.
