Resin recommended - EPOXY

Titantex is a powder coating pigmented applied to woven fabrics of glass, to ensure the best results we recommend use with epoxy resins.

If you want to use polyester resins or vinylester, you must keep in mind the following procedure:

Application of gel coat to the mould surface.
Allow it to become "sticky" and then position the fabric with the coated surface against the gel layer and to consolidate as always.
To continue with the application of resin and consolidate as usual.

NOTE: The powder coating is susceptible to attack by solvents (contained in polyester resins and vinylester) that result in the degradation of the dust pigmented and the subsequent elimination of the effectiveness of the finish.

Under no circumstances should you apply polyester resins directly on the aluminum surface.
