The structural acrylic adhesive 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP8005 is a two-part adhesive designed to bond low surface energy plastics such as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) without surface treatment. It cures quickly at room temperature and provides strong, durable bonds in automotive, appliances, and consumer goods.
The 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP490 epoxy adhesive is a black, two-component, thixotropic epoxy designed for gap filling with excellent application properties. It is ideal where high toughness and strength are required and provides particular advantages for bonding composites. It has excellent heat resistance (up to 120 °C) and environmental durability.
It offers high impact resistance and outstanding stability under static and dynamic loads. Its thixotropic formulation allows easy vertical application without dripping. Especially recommended for bonding composite materials and metals (including aluminum).
