Aramid (Kevlar) 2x2 twill fabric 173 g/m2 (SPOT), width 130 cm

Low‑weight aramid (Kevlar) fabric, 2x2 twill, with very good conformity to any surface. Recommended for applications seeking low composite density, while offering excellent impact and fire resistance. Ideal to combine with thermosetting resins, especially epoxy, vinylester or urethane‑acrylate (Crestapol). Widely used for hand lay‑up, infusion/vacuum or RTM processes.

Reinforcement fibres labeled SPOT in the reference come from production surpluses of top‑quality manufacturers or may present small localized quality defects that do not significantly affect the manufacture of composite parts or molds (e.g., a missing tow in a small area, a slight fold). When present, these are always minor defects. The lower price more than compensates for such minor imperfections.
