Varnish for finishing based on special polyester resins to achieve surfaces of exceptional quality. Specifically formulated for the nautical sector, where it is used for spray finishing of models requiring a high degree of gloss (High Gloss). Easy to apply, once dry, it allows for the creation of a perfectly workable/processable varnish layer.

Sanded polyester and vinyl ester surfaces.
GENERAL USE INSTRUCTIONS
- Ensure the surface is clean and the work area is dry, free of dust and silicones.
- Mix carefully.
- Dilute the varnish by adding 5-15% MEK solvent (recommended). The dilution percentage varies depending on the temperature and the desired product consistency.
- Mix slowly to avoid air accumulation.
- Finally, add 1-2% of liquid hardener MEKP (e.g. X8/Luperox K1SN or equivalent), mixing carefully.
- The product can be worked for 15-20 minutes in the cup at a 10% dilution at 23°C.
- Apply with a spray gun to a maximum thickness of 500-600 microns in 4-6 coats of 100-150 microns each.
- Apply each coat with 2 or 3 cross passes, allowing the product to air out and settle for 5 minutes between each coat.
- Use a spray gun with a 1.4-1.7 mm nozzle and a pressure of 2.0-2.5 bars (40 psi).
- Theoretical yield: 1.0-1.2 kg/m² for 600 microns thickness.
- The product can be sanded after 12 hours of application at a temperature of 20°C.
- Typical sanding cycle: by hand with P240-P320-P400, and after 12 hours, P600-P800-P1200 (do not use water).
- Polish the product 12 hours after sanding.
- Do not use at temperatures below 16°C.
- In its original packaging, the product remains stable for 6 months, stored in a dry place at temperatures not exceeding 20°C.
NOTES
- For surface cleaning, do not use silicone-contaminated cloths or cloths that have been in contact with silicone.
