Sika® Primer-210

Sika® Primer-210 is a solvent-based, non-pigmented epoxy primer, colourless to slightly yellowish, which reacts with moisture to form a thin layer acting as an adhesion bridge between metallic substrates and bonding systems.

It is designed as a pre-treatment for surfaces where one-component polyurethane adhesives and sealants are applied.

Use recommended by us: internal workshop tests have shown that it allows good adhesion of polyester to aluminium in lamination processes. This use is not stated in the manufacturer’s technical data sheet; therefore, preliminary testing is recommended for each application.

Areas of application

Sika® Primer-210 is used to improve adhesion on metals such as aluminium, steel and non-ferrous metals. It is intended as a pre-treatment prior to one-component polyurethane adhesives and Sikasil® sealants.

This product is intended exclusively for experienced professional users. Tests must be carried out under real substrate and application conditions to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.

Important notes

• Moisture-reactive product. Reseal the container immediately after use.
• Dispose approx. 1 month after opening if used frequently, or 2 months in case of occasional use.
• Do not dilute or mix with other products.
