400 gsm Plain Carbon Fabric C-WEAVE 400P 6K HS SPOT, width 125.5 cm

Plain carbon fabric for high performance applications where high mechanical strength and low weight are required.
Ideal for combination with epoxy, phenolic and BMI resins. Recommended for use in hand lamination, infusion or RTM (injection moulding) processes.
Carbon yarn type: 6 K (6000 filaments per strand of yarn). Toray T300B sizing 40D.
Roll width: 125,5 cm.

SPOT named in their reference, are fibres that come from surplus production of top quality firms or that may present small occasional quality defects, which do not significantly affect the manufacture of composite parts or moulds. Among the small defects in these fabrics, we can mention the following: that in some areas a fibre strand may be missing, or for example, that there is a small crease in the fabric. If there are any, they are always small defects. The cheaper price more than compensates for the little defects that can be found in these fibres.
