308 g/m² Carbon fabric 12K Twill 2x2 stabilised with epoxy fixation, width 1 m (SPOT)

Carbon fabric 2x2 twill for high-performance applications where high mechanical strength and low weight are required. It has a fixation of 18 g/m² in epoxy resin on one side to keep the weft and warp threads well bound during the cutting process.

Ideal for combining with any type of thermosetting resin (polyester, urethane-acrylic, vinylester, epoxy, or phenolic) by hand contact, infusion, or RTM (Injection).

Produced with Toray T700S C 12K 50C, it is a 290 g/m² carbon of type 2/2 twill with 18 g/m² of powder polyester resin fixation. The carbon fiber is a 12K carbon (12,000 filaments).

The reinforcement fibers designated SPOT in their reference come from production surpluses of top-quality brands or may have small localized quality defects, which do not significantly affect the manufacturing of composite parts or molds. Among the small defects in these fabrics, we can mention that in some areas a fiber may be missing or, for example, there may be a small fold in the fabric. In case of defects, they are always minor. The more economical price far outweighs the less significant defects that may be present in these fibers.
