Before you buy
Specify the substance or mixture, concentration, temperature and whether contact will be continuous or occasional.
Define the reinforcement and the barrier in contact with the fluid. For a lining, also check the substrate and its preparation.
Check the manufacturer's chemical-resistance table and curing cycle before putting equipment into service. Validate the complete solution where the project requires testing.

Polyester · tanks, pipes and chimneys
Crystic 198 for composite tanks, pipes and chimneys exposed to heat and chemical environments.
Define the agent, its concentration and operating temperature before choosing the laminate. In cold-cured systems, post-curing is necessary to develop the intended chemical and thermal resistance.

Vinyl ester · chemical-process equipment
Vinyl ester ACT for laminating equipment requiring chemical resistance, especially to certain aqueous media and hot water.
Check compatibility with the fluid and actual service conditions. The cure and laminate structure must deliver the performance required of the equipment.

Novolac vinyl ester · equipment and linings
X590AC for tanks, reactors, pipes and chimneys, or for formulating coatings on steel and concrete.
Select the resin using the resistance table for the agent, concentration and temperature. Coatings need a defined preparation, reinforcement and curing system; for fuels, also confirm current tank requirements.

Vinyl ester · chemically resistant laminates
Crystic VE 677 PA for fibre-reinforced laminates requiring resistance to chemicals, made by contact moulding, spray-up or winding.
Check the specific chemical medium and test the laminate before production. Post-curing and service temperature are part of the selection.
