Optical Brightner Additive for Epoxy Resins x 50 ml

Optical Brightner Additive enhances the white colour of surfboards, paddle boards, etc. It acts as a yellowing retarder for epoxy resins.

Sold in a drop dispenser bottle.

Optical Brightener is an epoxy additive for WWA, WWAS, 4000, 1070 CLEAR, 1070S CLEAR and 1070 ECO Resoltech’s resins.
Sold in 50 ml bottles, a few drops in the resin part of the topcoat will greatly enhance the white color of the foams (polyurethans and polystyrene) for surf, paddles, etc.
Its action is sustainable over time and will mask the yellowing effect caused under UV exposure.
On painted, decorated boards or any colored surfaces (carbon, flax fabrics) the Optical Brightener will modify the tonality of the colors. Every new application must be tested.

Mixing ratio: 1-3 drops of Optical Brightner for 100 g of resin (A component)

Recommended amount: 1 to 3 drops of Optical Brightner per 100 g of clear epoxy resin (component A). 30 drops are equivalent to 1 g. Therefore, the minimum amount of additive per kg of epoxy resin is 0.33 g, while the maximum is 1 g. Thus, for a 225 kg drum of WWA or WWAS transparent epoxy resin component A, the amount of Optical Brightner will be between 75 and 225 g.

Optical Brightener should be stored at a temperature between -10°C and 25°C.

Optical Brightener should be stored away from light.
