Twill carbon fabric for high performance applications where high strength and low weight is required. Compatible with all type of thermosetting resins such as epoxies, BMIs and phenolics. Suitable for hand lay-up, infusion or RTM (Inyection).
It is a 245 gsm carbon fabric. It has 6.1 warp threads/cm and 6.1 weft threads/cm. It is made using a 2/2 twill weave.
The thread is a 3K carbon thread (3000 filaments).
245T 3K Style 462 serves as an excellent surface layer and is used in areas where the surface finish and consistency must be of the very highest standard.
Type of carbon yarn: FT300B 3K 40B, with sizing for epoxy, BMI and phenolic resins.
