30102 - Carbon Look Finish, Clear Gloss Varnish, for Spray Gun

Gloss varnish. The product was designed for the sports world, interior decoration, and in general for components and accessories for industry. It is extremely versatile and can be used in all sectors where carbon fiber is preferred over other materials for its high mechanical strength and refined aesthetic performance.

Substrate Preparation:

Carbon fiber: degrease with suitable detergents

Then apply 30100 Carbon Primer TRX Filler after sanding with P320/400 or with Scotch Brite.

• Application viscosity: 20" TF4
• Nozzle size: 3.5-4 Atm (RP)
• Number of coats: 2
• Recommended thickness: 40-50 microns
• Application conditions: 20-25 ºC with 50-70% relative humidity
• V.O.C. of ready-to-use mix: 369 g/l

Drying:

In booth:

60 min at 60 ºC or 40 min at 80 ºC, after a prior flash-off time of 5 min at 20 ºC.

Colorless high-gloss polyurethane varnish  x 1,8 kg, supplied as a 3-component kit (1 kg of 30102 + 0.5 kg of hardener 00271 + 0,3 litres of thinner 00825).
