Divinycell PET PR80 8 Q100 Fire Retardant Foam for Infusion, 8 mm thickness

Divinycell PR80 is a recyclable thermoplastic PET foam for sandwich cores, made with up to 45% post-consumer PET and additional post-industrial recycled PET.

In addition to good mechanical properties in compression and shear, it offers low resin uptake, good thermal insulation properties and a closed-cell structure that contributes to low water absorption.

Divinycell PR80 is a sustainable and versatile solution for lightweight structural applications in sectors such as transport, civil construction, industry and sandwich panel manufacturing. Depending on the laminate configuration, it can contribute to achieving FST classifications according to EN 45545-2.

Divinycell PR80 is compatible with a wide range of manufacturing processes, including infusion, prepreg processes and press bonding. It allows processing at elevated temperatures, although the maximum allowable temperature depends on time, pressure and the specific process conditions.

It is also an easily thermoformable foam, with low density variation, good chemical resistance and a light green colour.

It is a foam grooved on the upper face, perforated, cut into squares and backed with a glass fibre scrim to facilitate moulding over curved surfaces and resin flow during infusion processes.
