Balsa wood Balsasud Core SG for infusion, thickness 19,1 mm (3/4")

BALSASUD® Core SG is the finest end-grain balsa wood core material in the market, ideal for sandwich construction. It has remarkable physical properties, starting with its outstanding strength-to-weight ratios (high shear and compression strength). It is an all-natural and renewable resource coming from Ecuador. It has exceptional fatigue and impact resistance properties. And it provides phenomenal sound and thermal insulation. In addition, it is a natural fire-retardant material.

BALSASUD® Core SG has a grid-scored (25 x 50 mm) finishing that improves the drapability to curved surfaces and comes with perforations that allow resin flow through the core. This can help prevent air from being trapped into the laminate and can help with resin flow.
