Carbon Primer TRX Filler, Primer for finishing carbon parts

DESCRIPTION

Transparent filler primer for sealing pores in carbon fibre parts.

It has been designed for the world of sports, interior decoration, and, in general, for components and accessories in the industry made of carbon fibre. The product is extremely versatile and usable in all sectors where carbon fibre is preferred over other materials due to its high mechanical strength and refined aesthetic performance.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

CARBON FIBER: Depending on the surface condition, if necessary, precise and adequate sanding is recommended, followed by dust removal and/or degreasing with 00695 SILICONE REMOVER SLOW.

APPLICATION

By spray gun:

Mixing ratio (weight/volume)

• 30100 CARBON PRIMER TRX FILLER: 1000 part
• 0271 SOFT LPL HARDENER: 250 part
• 00825 LECHSYS UNIVERSAL THINNER: 100 parts

Alternatively, the slow-reactive thinner 00824 LECHSYS UNIVERSAL THINNER SLOW can be used.

Gel time at 20°C: 4 hours

Ø Spray gun nozzle: 1.2 - 1.4 mm

Pressure: 3.5-4 atm (RP)

Number of layers: 1 + 1

Recommended layer thickness: 60-100 µ

Application conditions: 20-25°C, 50-70% relative humidity.

DRYING TIME

Low-temperature drying: 90 min at 90°C after 15 min of flash-off at 20°C.

SANDING

Dry sanding with P320/400 grit paper or Scotch Brite.

TOPCOAT

Use the product 30102 CARBON LOOK FINISH in a dry-on-dry system.
