245 g/m2 Carbon Fabric CWEAVE 245T 3K HS/P18 Stabilised with epoxy fixation, 110 cm wide (SPOT)

CWEAVE 245T 3K HS/P18 is a twill carbon fabric for high performance applications where high strength and low weight is required. Compatible with all type of thermosetting resins such us polyester, urethane-acrylate, vinyl ester and epoxy. Suitable for hand lay-up, infusion or RTM (Injection). One of the side of this carbon comes with an epoxy fixation.

It is a 245 gsm carbon fabric. It has 6.0 warp threads/cm and 6.1 weft threads/cm. It is made using a 2/2 twill weave.
The thread is a 3K carbon thread (3000 filaments).

CWEAVE 245T 3K HS/P18 serves as an excellent surface layer and is used in areas where the surface finish and consistency must be of the very highest standard.

One of the side of this carbon comes with 8 g/m2 an epoxy powder fixation.

Manufactured with 124 g/m2 in warp and 121 g/m2 of carbon in weft, which, combined with 8 g/m2 of the powder epoxy resin binder, yield a real total of 253 g/m2 ±4%.

SPOT reinforcements are fibres that come from overproduction of some of the highest quality materials or that may present small quality defects, which do not significantly affect the manufacture of the composite. Among the small defects in these fabrics we can mention these: a missing fibre yarn or a small crease in the fabric. They are always small imperfections or even negligible. The lower price more than compensates for the minor defects that may be present in these fibres/fabrics.
