PVC foam with a density of 80 kg/m³, ideal for infusion processes with thermoset resins: urethane-acrylics, polyester, vinylester, epoxy, etc.
Surplus production of wind turbine blades.
The PFC ODC presentation consists of scrim sheets (with glass mesh on the back), with through holes every 2 cm and deep longitudinal cuts in one direction, spaced 3 cm apart, for better resin flow.
Specifications
Description: Divinycell H80 PVC foam with a nominal density of 80 kg/m³. This material is ideal for infusion processes with thermosetting resins such as urethane-acrylic, polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy, etc. It offers excellent mechanical properties at low weight, low water absorption, good chemical resistance, and thermal/acoustic insulation.
Applications: Divinycell H80 foam is ideal for applications subject to fatigue, impact, and dynamic loads, with a proven track record in the production of wind turbine blades, marine industry, land transport, and civil engineering.

1. Typical values
2. Thermal conductivity at +20°C.
3. Standard deviation is 0.045. Continuous operating temperature is typically -200ºC to +70ºC. The foam can be used in sandwich structures, for outdoor exposure, with external skin temperatures up to +85ºC. For optimal design of applications used in high operating temperatures in combination with continuous load, please contact Diab Technical Services for detailed design instructions.
Maximum processing temperature is dependent on time, pressure, and process conditions. Therefore users are advised to contact Diab Technical Services to confirm that Divinycell H is compatible with their particular processing parameters.
Product Storage
The shelf life of Divinycell is unlimited when stored in its original packaging under ambient indoor storage conditions and protected from UV exposure.
