Substrate and moisture
Check substrate preparation and permitted moisture. A moisture-resistant resin does not authorise application over water.
Coatings / Concrete · indoor floors
Before coating a floor, define the substrate, its moisture and intended use. Choose between mortar, a multilayer system or a decorative finish and check layer compatibility, from primer to final finish.

Before you buy
Check substrate preparation and permitted moisture. A moisture-resistant resin does not authorise application over water.
A silica-filled mortar is not equivalent to pouring neat resin as a self-levelling floor.
Define thickness, adhesion, finish and cure before opening the floor to use. Confirm layer compatibility.

Primer or sealer · system-dependent
PA-47 prepares floors and walls for indoor coatings and paints.
Prepare the substrate and confirm compatibility with the next layer. Allow water to evaporate and the film to dry before recoating; for laminates, the description specifies at least 24 hours at 22 °C. Residual moisture in concrete may be acceptable, but standing or flowing water is not.

Mortar and multilayer flooring · grey RAL 7035
MO-16 for silica-filled epoxy mortars, repairs and multilayer systems. This reference is grey RAL 7035.
Spread the mortar over FETADIT IMP while it is still uncured. Once the mortar has hardened, seal its porosity with a compatible finish; PA-47 is among the sealing options. Aggregate and sealing are part of the system and determine flooring performance.
Fetadit PA-47 Water-Based Epoxy Primer: One option for sealing hardened mortar. The primer specified beneath the mortar is FETADIT IMP.

Binder for mortars and coatings
4307/2203 system for filled epoxy mortars and coatings.
The substrate must be dry and free from grease, oil and rust. On metal, tiles or other difficult-to-bond substrates, apply PA-47 first and let the primer dry for 24 hours before applying this system.
Fetadit PA-47 Water-Based Epoxy Primer: Primer for difficult-to-bond substrates; allow to dry before the 4307 system.

Binder · filled mortars and coatings
Castropox 4307/1209 accepts mineral fillers for industrial floor mortars and coatings.
Aggregate type and quantity determine whether you obtain a coarse mortar or a more fluid coating. On metal, tiles or other difficult-to-bond substrates, the 4307/1209 data sheet specifies PA-47 first and 24 hours of drying. Work above 10 °C.
Fetadit PA-47 Water-Based Epoxy Primer: Primer for difficult-to-bond substrates; allow to dry before the 4307 system.

Mortar and multilayer flooring · grey RAL 7033
MO-16 grey RAL 7033 for silica-filled epoxy mortars, concrete repairs and indoor multilayer flooring.

Flexible epoxy coatings and putties
Flexibilised epoxy system for floor coatings and putties where more flexibility than a rigid epoxy is needed.
Flexibility means lower hardness and chemical resistance, and poorer hot-water resistance. Consider these service conditions before choosing it for flooring.

Clear finish · indoor floors
Clear Cast A/B for indoor floors with a high-gloss clear layer that leaves the underlying finish visible.
Apply up to 3 mm per layer on a sanded, clean and degreased substrate. On wood and other porous substrates, prepare the surface with 1010/1014 water-based epoxy primer to reduce air release and bubbles. Allow the primer to dry and the finish to cure before putting the floor into service.
Resoltech 1010 / 1014 Water-Based Epoxy Primer: Primer for wood and other porous substrates before the Clear Cast coating.
