Core and reinforcement
Check compatibility with the foam, fabric and any decoration or insert before laminating.
Composites and marine / Clear laminating
To manufacture a surfboard, windsurf or kiteboard, the resin must wet out the reinforcement and be compatible with the core. Choose a system documented for clear laminating and match the hardener to the working time you need.

Before you buy
Check compatibility with the foam, fabric and any decoration or insert before laminating.
The available time must allow all reinforcement to be wetted out and consolidated. Account for workshop temperature and board size when planning the lay-up.
Fibre wet-out and the finishing coat are separate operations; follow the conditions for each.

Clear laminating
1070(S) CLEAR system for laminating surfboards, windsurf and kiteboards and producing clear laminates.
Allows laminating and curing at room temperature. Allow for post-curing if you need improved thermal performance. On an already cured laminate without peel ply, sand, clean and degrease before adding another layer.
Optical Brightner Additive for Epoxy Resins x 50 ml: Optional in the topcoat over white foam cores. It can change the colour of painted or decorated boards and exposed fibres; test the optical effect first.

1070 CLEAR / 1076 system
1070/1076 system for hand laminating and coating boards.
If finishing the board with a polyester topcoat, the data sheet supports applying it over this laminate. For a clear finish, use glass fabric with a suitable treatment: transparency also depends on the reinforcement.
