Topcoat VE 590 Grey 200966 is an epoxy novolac based vinyl ester topcoat dissolved in styrene. Provides excellent thermal and chemical resistance against solvents, acids and oxidizing media like chlrorine. Ideal for finishing glass fibre laminates made with polyester or vinyl ester resins in chemical aggressive environments. This topcoat is ready for use with roller or brush.

It offers high retention of strength at elevated temperatures.

Gel time at 25 °C with 2% MEKP catalyst: 12 - 16 minutes.

Heat distortion temperature: HDT 140 °C

The resin base used has a A KIWA approval (BRL-K 541/01) achieved for underground petrol storage tanks.
