Resoltech 1050 Infusion Epoxy Resin

Low-viscosity epoxy resin for the manufacture of high-performance composite parts with reinforcing fibers (glass, carbon, or Kevlar). Ideal for the manufacture of large structural parts by hand lay-up, infusion, and injection molding in sectors such as marine, wind energy, etc. It can also be used for casting and for filament winding applications.

6 hardeners available for a gel time between 10 min and 14 hours.

Mix ratio by weight: 100 : 35

Maximum glass transition temperature: 55 - 78 ºC depending on the hardener.

Color: Transparent colorless

To obtain semi-flexible parts, it is possible to combine RESOLTECH 1050 resin and RESOLTECH 1600 resin. More information here.

IMPORTANT, the two components must be mixed in the exact ratio.

Mix very thoroughly in a clean container, scraping the sides and bottom properly, then transfer to another clean container where mixing should continue. This is done because, even if the products appear to be well mixed, unmixed material may remain on the walls and at the bottom of the container. This can cause the resin not to gel properly in certain areas, leading to a poor result.
