Recapoli 955 INF-G is a very low-viscosity unsaturated DCPD based polyester resin, ortho-phthalic type, suited for vacuum infusion or injection (RTM). It is characterized by low volumetric shrinkage after curing, allowing for the production of high-quality surface parts. It enables the manufacturing of composite parts with high fiber content and therefore high strength and stiffness.

Recapoli 955 INF-G has a very low exothermic peak.

Recapoli 955 INF-G is a very low-viscosity unsaturated DCPD based polyester resin, ortho-phthalic type, suited for vacuum infusion or injection (RTM). Recapoli 955 INF-G has a very low exothermic peak.

Main features:

  • Gel time at 25 °C up to 35 °C (TM2625): 45-49 minutes
  • Viscosity at 23 °C, 100 s⁻¹ (TM2013): 80-90 mPa·s
  • Storage stability at 23 °C: 6 months, in tightly sealed containers and protected from direct sunlight.

Physical properties:

  • Tensile strength ISO (527-2): 70 MPa
  • Tensile modulus (527-2): 3.8 GPa
  • Elongation at break: 2.3%
  • Deformation temperature under load (HDT), ASTM D648: 85 °C
