Aramid (Kevlar®) /Carbon hybrid woven fabrics combine the properties of both materials in each layer, delivering a high strength-to-weight ratio, high drapability, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, and fatigue resistance.

3K Carbon and 200 TEX Aramid KEVLAR®

It is very easy to drape and yields impressive aesthetics.

This hybrid is compatible with vinyl ester resins such as Crystic VE676T; epoxy resin systems like Resoltech 1050, Resoltech 1200T, Resoltech 1080S or Resoltech HTG200; or with urethane-acrylate resins such as Crestapol® 1250LV, in order to maximize the strength properties of the carbon fiber.

Cutting composite grade KEVLAR® can be a headache! Serrated Scissors are designed to make precise, clean cuts for even the toughest fabrics. Use our special scissors Kai 7240-AS for a precise and clean cut.

Roll width: 120 cm

Carbon: Toray T300B 3k or Mitsubishi TR30S 3k

Aramid: Twaron 1000 or Alkex 1000

The fiber ratio is 50:50 by volume and 55:45 C/A by weight.
